Candibean Christmas

Hey lovelies, it my turn to share some Little Darlings rubber Stamp inspiration today. I thought I would share one of the cards I made for a recent feature in Papercraft Inspiration with you.

I used this cute image 'I can't Reach' from the candibean collection. They are coloured with copic's to match these pretty papers from Maja, which have been machine sew with white top stitch thread. I distress around the image with the postage stamp set from Vintage affections and added a little glossy accents to the baubles, with the red you get a lovely shine on them.

I matched up the papers with Steel (Oyster) gingham ribbon, and lace. I popped a little Star button on the bow. I kept the floral arrangement in muted colours so that the image was the brightest thing on the card. Simple white roses, cherry blossoms and sweetheart blooms. I also tucked some bells under the flowers, with a little Frantage on.

Thanks for popping in xx

Trick or treat :)

Hey Lovelies, Happy Thursday! Not long till the weekend, Hooray :) So pooped already, cant wait, plus is school holidays next week, so a full week of my little sprout to enjoy.

Today's make is something I made for Beth too. She loves a little bag to pop bits in, so I thought as its soon to be Halloween, I would made her a Trick or Treat bag, its also my 1st make for my new mega exciting Design team with Saturated Canary - Woop, woop!

Now then, I decided it needed to a bit of a more 'robust' bag to stand up to the Halloween business. I bought this fab card bag from Hobbycraft, and covered it in spider web decoupage papers, so it should stand all that a 4 year old can throw at it hehe.

I decorated it with two of Krista's cuties, Fast Food Fly by and Treats. Coloured up with my copics is some spooktacular bright colours lol. I cut the letters and little bats out with my Cameo. Oh and she loves it :)

Thanks for popping in, and have a great day xxx

Hey Lovelies, Happy Sunday! Well the Circus was fab, we also had a little birthday party yesterday, so looking forward to a nice relaxy day at home after all our gallivanting about. So today's card..... Its my new Totally Tilda challenge card, and its time for Halloween!

So its a pretty simple card. I started looking through all the Halloween coloured stuff, and I didn't have enough bits so I went all CAS. I coloured Tilda up with my copics. I printed out a sentiment on the side from my pc, which I was pretty please with. Then I found some scraps of fab striped paper and we are done :)

We are sponsored this time my Simon Says Stamps with a voucher to spend with them :)

So on to my card today, and its time for a new Challenge at A Creative Romance. Here is my creation.

Our theme is a fabby photo Inspiration, so went crazy and tried to use as many of the colours as I could.....

I just love the deep blues and purples :) I coloured Tilda with distress inks, and used Maja papers. The fabby Navy blue seam binding, 25mm Deborah Lace, and Leaf pins are all from the Ribbon Girls.

We are also sponsored by the lovely Mary and Andrea from the Ribbon girls.

Saturated Canary GDT card

Hey lovelies, Have you seen Krista is having a Guest DT call over on Facebook? Well you know I am a huge fan of her lovely images so I just had to make something and put my hat in the ring.

I got all freaked out when I looked at all the fab creations already entered, go have a look on the Saturated Canary Facebook group. So I coloured up Kit a couple of times until I felt it was good enough, I tried loads of different pleat styles of her dress, but I like this one the best.

I decided the best way I could make my creation stand out, was to pick the brightest colours hehe. I through she would make a cute gift bag. I am going to give this to Bethy, when she gets home from school. She has loads of hair clips, I think she will like putting them in here :)

I used Maja papers layered up with some cheese cloth on my bag. I popped a Magnolia Swirl Corner die in the flowers and used a Spellbinders fancy tag at the top. I distressed all the edges, and machine sewed them up. I rather like the contrast of the bright white paper when its scuffed up with the kraft coloured bag.

Well that's it for me. I am off to collect Beth, wish me luck in the call :) and thanks for popping in xxx

Sitting Tilda

Hey lovelies, Happy Sunday to you! I have a busy day in the craft room planned today with a few projects I need to work on, before I do here is my Totally Tilda card for the new challenge - Sitting Tilda.

I coloured Tilda up with distress inks, I decided to do her in red, before I picked the papers. I normally know what paper I am using before I colour, but I did a few at the same time and  didn't. Then when I came to find papers I realised that all the Red Maja papers I have are very Christmassy looking - Uggg!! So I had to break out the other basket with all sorts of papers in. This is Glitz, Cashmere Dame. I love the florals :)

I have wrapped the papers with 50mm Emily Lace, and Venetian Red Seam Binding from the Ribbon Girls. I wanted to mirror the red and lilacs in the image in the flower arrangements and used a mix of roses, tulips and lilies. I rather like the clash or red and purple :)

Pastel colours and LOTV at the Ribbon Girls

Hey Lovelies, Happy Sunday! I have double excitement for you today as I have 2 cards to post. My 1st is for the Ribbon Girls Colour challenge and this week it's pastels. The second is my GDT card for LOTV. As I love my LOTV images so much they are both LOTV images, I hope you dont mind :)

I have coloured up James bear with distress inks. The papers are scraps from my Maja basket, yes I have a whole basket just for Maja paper bits now, it might be getting out of hand lol! I have used from the Ribbon GirlsWhite top stitch thread, Pink Diamante heart, Pink cotton ribbon, white heart pin, 50mm Ophelia ivory lace, Wooden heart buttons, 11mm Flat back pearls, White button twine, Pink Kort & Godt rolled paper flowers, White Sweetheart blooms, 40mm Daisy.

So on to my second card for LOTV, I used James bear again, he is one of my favorite characters from LOTV.

I decide to colour up James with  pile of present with copics to see if I could get a sort of distress look. He matched up well with these Maja papers (well what else?!) I popped a Grunge Christmas Sentiment in the floral arrangement, and stamped the edges of the image with Grunge Christmas Postmarks. The Danish blue seam binding was a great match to the papers all finished off with a lovely Snowflake button and natural twine from the Ribbon girls.

Thank you so much for popping in today. Have a great day xxx
